Focused Issue: Improving the Quality and Outcomes of Lung Cancer Care: An Interdisciplinary Approach

We are glad to announce that the Focused Issue "Improving the Quality and Outcomes of Lung Cancer Care: An Interdisciplinary Approach" led by Prof. Raymond U. Osarogiagbon is published in the August Issue of Translational Lung Cancer Research.

The aims of this focused issue are to present an evidence-based discussion of the challenges of delivering high quality care for patients with lung cancer; quantify the extent and negative impact of the quality gap in lung cancer care and to provide practical recommendations for eliminating the quality gap, with the overarching goal of improving patient survival at the broad population level. This special issue focuses on lung cancer from preventive care to treatment of advanced disease.

Thanks to excellent organization by our Guest Editor Prof.Raymond U. Osarogiagbon and outstanding contributions from a world-class team of international lung cancer experts, we are glad to see this focused issue out soon and will meet its authors and readers on the 2015 World Conference of Lung Cancer(WCLC) in September.
