Masayuki Takeda, MD, PhD

Dr. Takeda graduated from Nara Medical University (Nara, Japan) in 2001. He was trained in Internal Medicine at Nara Medical University Hospital from 2001 to 2003. He served as Research Staff, Pharmacology Division, National Cancer Center (Tokyo, Japan) from 2004 to 2006. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Department of Internal Medicine at Nara Medical University in 2007. He has a faculty position of Associate professor of Medical Oncology, Kindai University Faculty of Medicine, Japan. His clinical and research interests and are primarily focused on thoracic oncology, tumor biology, and translational research. He is the certified specialist in the Japanese Respiratory Society, and the Japanese Society of Medical Oncology, and has been active member of the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC). He has published more than 60 peer review journal papers (more than 20 as a first author).
